Our Statement of Faith

  1. We believe in one God in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  2. We believe in God the Father Almighty, maker of heaven and earth.
  3. We believe in one Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. In accordance with the Scriptures, He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified and buried. On the third day, he was resurrected from the dead. Jesus revealed himself alive first to the disciples, then to more than 500 people, James and finally Paul. Christ ascended into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God the Father. One day He will return to earth to gather His church and rule over the world.
  4. We believe there is only one salvation from sin and death, brought to us by the love of God the Father through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins. All who confess that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in their heart that God rose Him from the grave will be saved. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
  5. We believe in the Holy Spirit flowing from God the Father and the Son, who came upon the disciples at the day of Pentecost and indwells all believers. The Holy Spirit has come to reveal the depths of God and to convict the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment. Concerning sin because there are many who do not believe in Jesus Christ. Concerning righteousness because Christ is with the Father presently. Concerning judgment because the ruler of this world is judged.
  6. We believe that the 66 books of the Bible are the perfect and holy words of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit, given to man. The Scriptures are good for teaching, reproof, for correction and training in righteousness, that the believer may be complete and lacking nothing.
  7. We believe that the Church is the Bride of Christ, and commissioned to spread the Gospel and make disciples of all nations. We believe in one baptism, the communion of saints from all ages, the forgiveness of sins, and eternal life for all who have their name in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
